Aldermore removes remortgage application fees.
Aldermore has recently removed the fees it charged for applications on its remortgage only products.
The details of its no-fee range are:
- 2 year fix at 4.98% for up to 85% LTV
- 5 year fix at 5.08% for up to 85% LTV
The lender has also made adjustments to its other ranges, including mortgage rates offered for high LTV’s, new build mortgages and the products designed especially for first time buyers.
The removal of its fees may well come in anticipation of the sooner than expected rise in the base rate. Market figures point to an increase in the number of remortgage applications being made compared to this time last year.
