Accord cuts 5 year fixed mortgage rates.

Average fixed rates are falling, and today Accord has announced that it’s cutting rates by as much as 0.15%.

The lender, which is part of the Yorkshire BS group, has updated its range to include various reduced rate 5 year fixes. Deals are now cheaper across several LTV levels from 75% to 85%.

5 year fixed range highlights include:

• An 85% LTV mortgage at 2.79% with an £845 fee.
• An 85% LTV mortgage at 2.89% with an £845 fee and £250 cashback on completion.

As you can see from the above example, it can be difficult working out which products are the most competitive and affordable overall. Is it the lower rate without cashback or the higher rate with cashback?
