Barclays adds a 7 year fixed rate mortgage to its residential range.

Barclays has announced plans to update its fixed rate mortgage range. Included in the range update is the inclusion of a 7 year mortgage for rate switchers.

Range highlights include:

• A 7 year fixed rate mortgage for 75% LTV at 2.99% with a £999 fee.
• A 2 year fixed rate mortgage for 60% LTV at 1.57% with a £999 fee.
• A 2 year fixed rate mortgage for 70% LTV at 1.79% with a £999 fee.
• A 2 year fixed rate mortgage for 80% LTV at 2.39% fee free.

In addition Barclays has also refreshed its 5 year fixed rate range, deals now include a rate of 3.13% for 80% LTV which is offered fee free.

The lender has also announced that it has reduced its minimum loan advance to £35,000.
