New Coventry Building Society mortgage range launched.

A new Coventry Building Society mortgage product range has been launched which includes offset and buy to let products ideally suited for larger loan values.

The lender's new mortgage product range includes an offset Flexx for term deal offered for 65 % LTV at 3.49 % with a £1,800 arrangement fee, a £199 booking fee and no early repayment charge. A lower fee version is offered for 65 % LTV for 3.69 % with a £1,300 arrangement fee, £199 booking fee and no early repayment charge.

A new buy to let mortgage range has also been launched for 65 % LTV. All products have a £250 booking fee, 2 year fixed rates are offered for 3.75 % with a £2,249 arrangement fee, 3.99 % with a £1,749 arrangement fee and 4.25 % with a £999 arrangement fee.

Colin Franklin who is the Sales and Marketing Director for the Coventry Building Society mortgage division has said that the lender has launched a new range of products which are well suited to those who require a large loan who want a low mortgage rate.

He added that the fees charged by lenders are often considered as something to be avoided, however in some cases paying a flat mortgage fee can mean getting a lower interest rate. Those borrowers who require a larger mortgage may find themselves better off with a flat fee rather than a percentage fee.
