Accord residential mortgage rates are withdrawn due to demand.

Accord Mortgages have withdrawn their residential mortgage rates on a temporary basis after experiencing an unprecedented and unexpected number of applications over recent weeks.

The lender has advised that all of its mortgage rates are to be withdrawn in order to maintain service levels, they advise that products will be replaced and re-launched during the coming week.

Earlier in February this year, Accord announced that it was temporarily withdrawing its entire range of 75 and 85 per cent loan to value mortgage products. At the time the reason stated was because of high borrower demand due to competitor movements.

The lender advises that this second withdrawal is because of high mortgage application demand levels, the need to maintain service levels remains paramount.

Deal Direct will be looking out for the new mortgage rates which should soon be launched by Accord, and will report on the re-introduced range as soon as details are known.
