There are many mortgage rates best buys currently on the market available through Deal Direct.

Starting with HSBC, they offer 2 year discounted mortgage rates for 60 per cent LTV starting at a rate of 1.99 per cent with an arrangement fee of £1499. An early repayment charge will also apply during the discounted period.

The Leeds Building Society also offer a 2 year discounted mortgage but for 75 per cent LTV at a rate of 2.45 per cent with an arrangement fee of £999, an early repayment charge will apply during the discounted period.

A variable tracker mortgage deal is offered by First Direct for 65 per cent LTV at a rate of 1.79 per cent above the BOE base rate for 2 years. A £999 fee is applicable but there is no early repayment charge during the 2 year period.

The Chelsea Building Society also have a 2 year tracker deal which is offered at 1.89 per cent above the BOE base rate for 70 per cent LTV. A £1,495 fee is applicable but an early repayment charge will apply during the 2 year period.

The Norwich and Peterborough Building Society offer a 2 year tracker for 75 per cent LTV offered at 1.99 per cent above the BOE base rate. A slightly lower arrangement fee of £795 is charged and an early repayment fee is applicable for the 2 year period.
