In time for 2015, NatWest has announced that up to 87 of its mortgage products are down in price.

Both its residential and buy to let range are now cheaper, which should be of great help to would-be home-owners and those looking to remortgage or invest in property.

Rates have been cut range wide and cheap deals can now be found at fixed length periods from 2 to 5 years, reduced rate deals also include 2 year trackers and buy to lets.

Residential mortgage highlights include:

• A 2 year fix for 60% LTV at 1.84% with a £995 product fee.
• A 2 year fix for 95% LTV at 5.15% fee free.
• A 3 year fix for 60% LTV at 2.69% fee free.
• A 3 year fix for 95% LTV at 4.13% with a £995 product fee.
• A 5 year fix for 60% LTV at 2.84% with a £995 product fee.
• A 5 year fix for 95% LTV at 5.39% fee free.
• A 5 year fix for 90% LTV at 4.29% fee free. First time buyers – residential property only.

Buy to let products have also been cut by up to 0.25%.

Range highlights include:

• A 3 year fix for 75% LTV at 3.34% with a £1,995 product fee.
• A 5 year fix for 60% LTV at 4.25% with a £1,995 fee free.
