The best remortgages this Easter.

The Leeds Building Society offer a 2 year discount rate at 2.45 per cent for 75 per cent LTV, with an arrangement fee of £999. Penrith Building Society have a similar deal but for a slightly higher 2.65 per cent but there is no arrangement fee.

The Chelsea Building Society offer a tracker deal at 1.89 per cent above the BOE base rate which is offered for 70 per cent LTV and is fixed until May 2014. A fee of £1,495 will be charged. First Direct also offer a 2 year tracker at 1.89 per cent above the BOE base rate for 65 per cent LTV, the arrangement fee is slightly lower though at £499.

HSBC offer a 2 year fixed rate mortgage at a low 2.54 per cent, however the deal is offered at 60 per cent LTV and a reasonably high arrangement fee of £1999 is charged. The Chelsea Building Society offer a slightly higher rate for their 3 year fixed rate mortgage at 2.94 per cent for 70 per cent LTV with an arrangement fee of £1,695.
