Santander cuts residential remortgage rates by up to 0.65%

Santander has announced that rates have been cut across its range of products for both new purchase and remortgage.

For those looking to lock into a new low rate fixed rate deal several new lower rate mortgages are on offer.

Reduced rate range highlights include:

• A 2 year fix for up to 60% LTV at 1.39% with a £1,495 booking fee
• A 3 year fix for up to 90% LTV at 4.24% with no booking fee
• A 5 year fix for up to 60% LTV at 2.35% with a £995 booking fee
• A 10 year fix for up to 70% LTV at 2.94% with a £995 booking fee

For existing Santander current account and mortgage holders the lender has released a range of Loyalty mortgages. These deals either offer a reduced rate or a lower booking fee.

Loyalty range highlights include:

• A 2 year fix for up to 60% LTV at 1.64% with a £495 booking fee
• A 2 year fix for up to 60% LTV at 1.89% with no booking fee
• A 5 year fix for up to 60% LTV at 2.35% with a £495 booking fee
• A 10 year fix for up to 70% LTV at 2.94% with a £495 booking fee

Remortgaging customers are also offered additional incentives in the form of a free valuation and free legals, new purchase customers are offered £250 cashback.
