Two new mortgages for self-builders launched by Buckinghamshire BS. 

Two new mortgages have been launched by Buckinghamshire Building Society aimed specifically at borrowers who want to self-build. 

The popularity of property TV shows has meant that awareness of the option of self-building your own home has reached an all-time high. The details are: 

• 3 year fixed rate at 3.89% for up to 85% LTV

Early repayment charges apply starting at 3% and dropping to 1%, depending on when the early repayment is initiated.   

• 3 year discount of 1.5% off 4.99% SVR = 3.49% for up to 85% LTV

Early repayment also applies starting at 1.5%, dropping to 0.5% after the first year.
